putting your body in ketosis

putting your body in ketosis

hi and welcome to my video. i get asked a lot and i’m really gettingasked a lot right now because i’m posting stuff on facebook and people are seeing alot of the results that i’m getting and people ask, what exactly are you doing anthony? and i really haven’t posted it out thereand i just realized that, so i’m going to make a quick video that just kind of showsyou what i’m doing. i have a 5 minute on this video, so i’mgoing to be trying to jam this into 5 minutes, so i’m not going to give you a ton, i’mjust going to show you exactly what i’m doing and an easy wat to figure it out.

if you go to my pruvit website, which is buildingthechapionwithin.pruvitnow.com,and then scroll down and on the right-hand side it says “get in the n8tive zone.” okay, click on that, click on the words, clickon that picture. it’s going to take you “get in the n8tivezone.” and this is basically what i’m doing, okay? so, 8 steps, very basic. so, take keto os twice a day. i’m taking keto os twice a day, first timebetween 6:00 and 9:00 am in the morning and then the second serving between 1:00 and 4:00pm, usually that’s a good time.

i usually don’t take it around 1:00, i takeit kind of between 2:00 and 4:00, but that’s a good time. if you take it too late, especially if youhave any issues with caffeine, if you’re taking the caffeinated version, it might keepyou up. i like to go to sleep at like 8:30-9:00 o’clockevery night, so i don’t want that and i am taking the caffeinated version. however, i also have purchased the un-caffeinatedversion, so if i forget to take it and it’s 5:00 or 6:00 o’clock, i’ll just take oneof the un-caffeinated versions. so, take this twice a day, take it in themorning, 6:00 to 9:00 am, and then take it

in the afternoon at 1:00 to 4:00 pm. second step, drink more water. this is something that i struggle with becausei know i don’t drink enough water. i have a gallon of water right here sittingnext to my desk and i try to drink this gallon of water every day, but i’m not drinkinga gallon of water right now, so i need to continue to work on that. anthony flatt: they say about a half an ounceto an ounce per pound of body weight. if i was doing that, i’d be drinking 2 gallonsa day or 1 to 2 gallons a day and i’m drinking more like a half a gallon to three-quartersfor a gallon.

so, i’m working my way up to it, but definitelydrink more water. and alcoholic drinks and other things arenot water, that’s anti-water. for every one of those you drink, you needto drink one to neutralize it and one more to rehydrate from it. so just know if you’re thinking that, you’regoing backward. eliminate refined sugars, this is a must. i am prediabetic and i have pretty high bloodpressure, so this is a big one for me. any form of sugar whatsoever causes my glucoseto go up, it doesn’t matter if it’s manmade sugar, it doesn’t matter if it’s realcane sugar, it doesn’t matter if it’s

from a sugar leaf, all forms cause my sugarto go up. i do still drink a diet soda or two a week,so i’m not going to say that i have totally kicked that, but i have cut back on all ofthat and i don’t eat anything with sugar in it if i can avoid it. eliminate wheat, flour, and grains, i’vedone that. it’s not actually been an issue, even thoughi love past and rice. i have not had any cravings, i haven’t hadto really worry about that, but i don’t eat any breads, pasta, carbs, white rice. i also don’t eat refined sugar that we justtalked about, but also refined salt and white

rice. so basically, nothing white other than high-fatdairy and no wheats, grains or whatever. and then increase your healthy fats. increase your avocados, macadamia nuts andother high-fat nuts. eat meat that has good healthy fat in it. fat helps meat marbleize in the beef, thelittle lines, the little white lines, that makes the beef better. it cooks down, renders down, that’s whatmakes it juicy. if you’re eating chicken, eat the skin onyour chicken.

get good healthy fats, that’s probably somethingi’m also not doing a great job with, although i’m working on it. definitely eat more healthy fats. eat your first meal between 11:00 and 1:00. i do that just because i’m not hungry inthe morning and it works out and i also like to give my body 12 to 16 hours of rest torepair itself. so, i don’t eat after 8:00 pm, i don’teat before 8:00 am and i try not to eat before noon, that gives my body lots of time to repairitself. and then again, like i just said, don’teat your last meal…

eat your last meal before 8:00 pm, don’teat after 8:00 pm. and then move more, but don’t worry aboutthis one until you’ve actually started losing some weight. maybe start walking around a little bit more, but don’t jump into an exercise program, especially if you’re like me and you haven’tdone exercises in like 20 years. i went 60 days without doing any exercise, just walking. so, don’t worry about that. okay, i’m up on time, so i hope that helped. take care.
